This course goes into the pathos and the development of passion for the job, recognizing the traditions and ceremonies of the fire service.

Pump Operations

A course that starts with the anatomy of a pump and goes over friction loss and builds up to calculating pressures of multi-lines, multi-units, elevation factors such as standpipes and elevated master streams, and how to calculate if you are out pumping your supply or can support flowing another line from your pump.

Rural Water Supply - Drafting & Relay

This course addresses the volume and weight of water and its importance in the rural setting. The course addresses drafting, relay pumping, and more.

“Tools for the Teacher”

This course is geared at the new instructor, providing insight into creating eye-catching powerpoint presentations, adding transitions & animations, how to make custom backgrounds, the process of extracting and embedding videos and audio, and utilizing the instructor notes section for talking prompts. This will be a how-to/ step-by-step tutorial on how to make presentations that standout and students remember.

We will also cover some of the various teaching aids useful for course delivery and instruction that I have used over the years such as: Kahoot!, ZipGrade, PollEverywhere, SurveyMonkey.
