Fire Officer 2

This course is designed to give the student the foundational knowledge and fundamental skills to prepare them for the International Fire Service Accreditation of Congress (IFSAC) and ProBoard certification meeting the National Fire Protection Agency (NFPA) 1021 standards for Fire Officer. This course is delivered through classroom learning and practical application.

Course topics included are: leadership and supervision, human resource and administrative responsibilities in the fire service, origin and cause determination, safety investigations and analyses, and delivery of emergency services.

This program is 32+ hours long and has a maximum limit of recruits per academy, depending on in-person or hybrid.
