Firefighter 2

This course is a 3 week program designed to give the student the next level of knowledge and firefighting skills (foam application, utility emergencies, rescue skills, pre-incident survey and prevention/ public eduction, and basic fire cause/ origin detection) to prepare them for the International Fire Service Accreditation of Congress (IFSAC) and ProBoard certification meeting the National Fire Protection Agency (NFPA) 1001 & 470 standards, of Firefighter 2. This course is delivered through classroom or online/ hybrid learning and practical drills.

This program is 40+ hours long and is limited to a maximum of 30 recruits per (in person) academy; 15 recruits per (hybrid) course.
